What is Fishermen’s Grade™?

We only sell Fishermen’s Grade™ — our trademark standard. It’s a true mix of the day’s catch, divided as evenly as possible across all orders, with a focus on getting your crabs to you as quickly and with as little handling as possible.

We don’t sort by size, and we don’t grade the crabs. That means we can’t guarantee what sizes you’ll get, but we always do our best to make sure no one ends up with all big crabs or all small ones. Sometimes the catch runs larger, sometimes smaller — but it’s always the freshest, and we've had very few complaints over the years.

We sell 10-pound bags only, priced at $250 for the 2025 season, and delivery is always free. We set our price at the start of the season and never raise it — even when market prices spike or the crabs are running big.

While we don’t set aside the largest crabs — not even for a million dollars — many crab lovers prefer the sweetness of mediums. If that’s your preference, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate, but we can’t make any promises.

Crabfather.com specializes in freshly caught Stone Crab claws delivered directly from Everglades City, where Jonathan has been running his Stone Crab operation since 1993.

What is the price? 

Jonathan proudly offers free delivery to any address within Miami-Dade or Broward Counties

  • Price: $270 for a 10-pound bag (includes free delivery).
  • Bonus: With every 10-pound bag, you get a free mallet.
  • Fixed price for the entire crab season: Even when market prices rise, the price remains the same!
  • You can add our mustard sauce to the order for $22.00

Orders

How can I order?

Our goal is our customer satisfaction, that is why we have made it easy to place the orders. There are a few ways you can reserve your bags:

1. Through the website, just click here for our signature 10 pound bag and choose a delivery date. You can add sauce if desired, a mallet is included with every purchase. Once you get to the checkout page, fill out the information, choose your desired payment method, and complete the order. This will reserve your spot on the date you chose and you will receive an email and a text with the payment request and delivery details.

2. Filling out the form, just like before. Click here to reserve your bag and we will text you the details.

3. By text. You can always reach us at 872-272-2323 (USA-CRABDAD).

Please remember:

  1. No need to pay in advance, but PLEASE NOTE OUR PAYMENT POLICY, that you send payment promptly after we notify you that we caught your crabs. Just be available via text on the day of delivery.
  2. Jonathan will confirm the harvest the afternoon or evening before delivery, and provide payment instructions and logistics.
Can I get a free mallet with my order?

Yes! Each 10 pound bad comes with a free branded mallet. You can purchase more for $10.00.

When Should I Expect My Delivery?

You don’t need to be present for delivery. We start our route at 5:30 AM and aim to finish by noon. The exact delivery order is finalized the morning of, but we’ll send you an approximate ETA that day through SMS and Email. Payment instructions will be shared the evening before. We work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details. Delivery times may vary depending on your location.

Can I purchase mustard sauce?

What are your payment methods?

Please can keep in mind that Venmo or Cash ApplePay are the preferred payment methods, but we also take Zelle, and CashApp. We no longer accept checks. All options are available at checkout. Just select one and place the order. We will notify you by text and email when to pay before the delivery.

Stone Crabs

Are crabs cooked?

Yes, after they are caught they are cooked the same day, and delivered the next day in a temperature controlled container to ensure freshness.

Where are your crabs from?

Our crabs are freshly harvested in Everglades City, Florida.

Delivery

Do I need to be home to receive the order?

You won’t necessarily need to be home for the delivery, just able to be reached via text. We will text you in the morning with an ETA. Deliveries start around 5:30 AM to Noon.

How should I store my crabs?

We always recommend placing your crabs in a larger cooler, well-covered with ice and with a drain for the melted water. Stored this way, they should stay good for a week or even longer. The next best option is to keep them in your refrigerator with a little ice on top, draining the melted ice periodically.

When you get crabs from us, they were always caught the day before you receive them, with minimal handling on our part. We don’t even grade them — they’re cooked in the same bag we deliver them in, then iced, and they don’t see daylight again until they reach you. That means they’ve still got a great shelf life ahead of them when they arrive.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free for orders in Miami Dade and Broward.

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn’t the case, let us know and we’ll do our best to work with you to make it right.

Are any purchases final sale?

We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.

Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.
